Biography
Sarah has 15 years experience as a dietitian. After graduating from The University of Otago in 2008 she started working at Waikato Hospital providing dietetic care to the inpatient wards before later moving to outpatient services. She has worked across most adult areas within clinical dietetics with a keen interest in gastroenterology, general surgery, diabetes and oncology.
In 2013 Sarah started in private practice alongside her work at Te Whatu Ora and has continued the same since. Sarah has a keen interest in helping people with gastrointestinal issues such as irritable bowel syndrome/ functional bowel disorders, inflammatory bowel disease, eosinophilic oesophagitis and coeliac disease. She has experience in liver disease, gastrointestinal surgeries, oncology, pre diabetes and Diabetes.
Sarah enjoys assisting people to modify their diets to improve their health and quality of life. She is empathetic and considers a holistic approach whilst staying up to date with the latest evidence based nutrition.
